2. Where was your first kiss?
I was 9 years old in the 5th grade. It was during a trip to the Ice Capades with a group from my church. We hunkered down in the back of the bus underneath our coats and went for it. This was after getting schooled the night before by her older sister and my niece. Lawd, it was awful, but definitely an unforgettable memory. LOL

3. Have you ever seriously vandalized someone else’s property?
No. Well, unless you count the time I was throwing rocks at passing cars and cracked someone’s side window. My dad almost KILLED me behind that. Oy.

4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?
No. No hits. Not my style at all. That’s for cowards.

5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people?
Yup. Karaoke is a helluva drug. LOL

6. What is the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?
Her hands.

7. What do you order at the Coffee Bean?
Never been inside a Coffee Bean.

8. What is your biggest mistake?
Not taking advantage of opportunities that were presented to me earlier in life.

9. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
Nope. Can’t say that I have.

I hate beets.

11. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
Hmmm … I’ve gotten a lot of that in the past. Lessee, I’ve been told I look like a light-skinned Bill Cosby and a better-looking Scottie Pippen. Blecch. lol

12. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?
The other day … I caught myself … watching Teen Titans. Shoot me now.

13. Did you have braces?
No.

14. Are you comfortable with your height?
A few more inches would do just swell.

15. What is the most romantic thing someone of the opposite sex has done for you?
Catered to me from head to toe during a trip to Canada, turning our hotel room into a personal spa, complete with sponge bath and massage.

16. When do you know it’s love?
When you don’t get tired of the person after a few weeks. LOL

17. Do you speak any other languages?
A lil bit of Spanish. I can get by like an old Talib Kweli song.

18. Have you ever been to a tanning salon?
Nope. I think those places — and the people who feel the need to go — are kinda wack.

19. What magazines do you read?
Black Enterprise, VIBE (why I still read this, I have no idea), Urban Influence (well, I write for this one), The Flow (write for this one, too … lol), BlackSportsTheMagazine (yup, me in dere as well), ESPN: The Magazine, Men’s Health, KING (ummmm, for the articles … yeah, that’s it! hehehe)

20. Have you ever ridden in a limo?
Yes. A few times. I’ve been in six weddings.

21. Has anyone you were really close to passed away?
Oh yes. My father, my sister, brother and a really close friend.

22. Do you watch MTV?
Only on Thursday nights when Making the Band and Run’s House are on.

23. What’s something that really annoys you?
People that can’t spell correctly … and people who don’t know when to just.shut.up!

24. What’s something you really like?
Banana pudding. Oh, and sex. Not necessarily in that order. LOL

25. Do you like Michael Jackson?
He was my man up until Remember the Time. After that, notsomuch.

26. Can you dance?
I’m just a nano second off beat, but I can fake it pretty well.

27. What’s the latest you have ever stayed up?
I’ve been known to pull some all-nighters every now and again. The latest has been two days straight. Not.good.times.

28. Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room?
No. By cab, though. Does that count?

Sometimes. If I find the first few answers interesting enough.
