Like, It Is
Call it Big Brother Syndrome. Call it the game of life. Call it late for dinner. I don’t care.
And really, it doesn’t matter. All I know is, after years and years of celebrating Love despite most people’s mishandling of the emotion, their misaction with the verb, it’s time we gave at least a shout out to a word we often hold closer and dearer to our hearts. A word we definitely use more.
Yup, today, on Love Day, I boycott that sentiment … and instead champion its little brother, Like.
And it’s about time.
