Will You …

bear with me as I get myself re-situated? Life has been very hectic the past few months. So much going on, so little time to blog.

Since April 15th, I’ve moved, traveled to Jamaica for a co-worker’s wedding, come to grips with the fact that my uncle has pancreatic cancer, helped my cousins calm down as my aunt was also placed in the hospital for anxiety attacks due to my uncle’s illness, dealt with various immediate family issues (read: sister and mom), dealt with a stalker, gotten married (sike! just wanted to make sure you were paying attention … LOL), written various articles and columns, and oh yeah … along with two of my colleagues, put together a conference which hosted over 500 participants, including more than 90 of the brightest and best students from this nation’s HBCUs (huge shout out to my “kids” from HAMPTON UNIVERSITY!!!! You guys make me sooo damn proud!).

So yes, it’s been extremely hectic. Shout out to the Hilton in Walt Disney World. They took good care of me (although I don’t need to see Orlando again any.time.soon. Oy.)

However, allllll is good. I’m still standing. I’m still strong. (Which is more than I can say for Antonio Tarver … What the hell was that?!?!?!? Punk ass.) LOL

As I regroup, how about we do this? If you choose to, ask me some things you’ve always wanted to know about me. (Trust me, if there’s none, I WON’T be upset … lol) I promise to answer as truthfully and honestly as possible (and reserve the right to refuse if it’s TOO personal). I look forward to the interaction. It’s been a while.

Seriously, reading your blogs will prove to be some therapy for me as I wind down this week. Your adventures will definitely help me get back “in my write mind.”

Respect …
